New MTN Gearsmith 3000W/ 3.4HP Compact Electric Meat Grinder

Meat Grinder/stuffer
Pros:
The grinding function of this machine is strong and fast.
Cons:
The sausage/hot dog stuffer is slow,(this is when you run the ground meat through a second time for the stuffing) and the casing tube is tapered so applying natural hog casings,BBQ size, is difficult for an entire casing (approx. 6ft), on without damaging casing. I did buy a LEM sausage stuffer, it is much faster, it holds 5 lbs. of ground meat and is stainless steel.
The only other con is the nice shiny parts turn dull grey after washing.

Useless
Everything stated about the machine in the description and reviews is FALSE.

1st it is actually 9pounds instead 29 pounds -18$ for shipping.

|2nd think you are buying a nice heavy duty machine instead you get this little light weight piece of junk.

3rd the it has no power my previous meat grinder was Deni 1hp 800W and it was more powerful & did not slow down.

Take my advice save your money and buy something else.
Also, nowhere did we find where this thing was made in.

2 thumbs up!
I grind 20 pounds of chicken thighs & legs (bones and all) every 20 days for home made cat food. This grinder finished the 20 pound job in just 15 minutes last time and I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The middle sized blade is perfect for one run through and the bones are small enough to be safe for the cats. (can't feel them when running hands through it).

I have used mine about 6 times now and no sign of gear problem sounds or overheating. It's terrific. I'm happy I chose it instead of the other one I had my eye on, that had a 3 week back-order time frame & was $50 more with less power.

I would definitely recommend this grinder to anyone who makes their own pet food and needs one that can handle the chicken bones easily.

Don't accidentally choose expedited shipping on this item or it will more than double the cost. The regular shipping was sufficient and it arrived a day sooner than it said.
