I choose this rating because this is one of the best fans I have ever purchased. You get a lot of air even on low setting. Worth the price.
Good air flow
My son has taken over the basement family room as his bedroom. He needed more air flow so we purchased two of these fans. Very happy with the product.

A co-worker had lent this fan to a staff member for their office because the air in that particular office never seemed to be moving and was warm. This fan is perfect for the office. Even when you turn the fan on high - it does not blow papers around and the air flow works perfectly. Of course, the remote is an extra bonus. I highly recommend this fan for office and/or home.
