A Complete Piece of Trash
Stay far, far away from anything manufactured or "serviced" by Sunpentown.
After five months of owning this piece of garbage, it just stopped working. Just went dead, for no apparent reason. Rather than honoring their warranty and sending me a replacement, they made me SEND THE UNIT back to them, at a whopping price of almost $40 in postage. (Looking back, I was a complete fool for falling for this.) Then they alerted me that the unit had arrived "damaged" but out of the goodness of their hearts they were willing to send me a RECONDITIONED unit for $70. How long do you think the reconditioned unit would have lasted if a NEW one lasted only five months?
I'm now on a one-man crusade to make sure nobody else makes the mistake of buying these terrible products. They're garbage and the company that sells them is unethical. SPT model WC-12 Wine Cooler
I just bought this a couple of weeks ago. It is great so far. It holds either small bottles or large bottles of wine. If you use large bottles, you just have to remove the shelf above. It keeps the wine cool and is quiet. The only draw back was that it was too tall to put on the counter if you have over counter cabinets. I put it on a small table in the utility room. It is a perfect size otherwise.
great wine cellar frig
I've had my cellar frig for almost 2 years- works great actually I got 2 of them for my space. it is a wine cellar not cooler. if you want a cold wine then just get a small refrig, not a wine cellar refrig! it keeps wine at cellar temps. perfect for maintaining wines. when I'm ready to drink a white ...then I transfer to my main frig to cool it down to what I like to drink it at.
