Arrived Damaged
As I received the BrylaneHome Toaster Oven with Double Burners I opened the box and immediately noticed that the oven had scratched up paint across the top near the seam. As I opened the oven door, the bottom side was dented in and pressing on the rear heating element. This dent apparently damaged that particular heating element as it didn't light up evenly. One end of the heating element was bright red and the other end didn't light up at all. The other 3 heating elements heated up and lit up evenly throughout with no bright red spots. Of course my concern would be having our food cook unevenly.
I contacted the seller directly and they told me that they would take 4 weeks to process my return. Along with the UPS return label I found a note that indicated "There is no need to pay postage up front. The cost of these services will be deducted from your merchandise credit or refund" I understand that to mean that they would indirectly be charge me to send back their damaged...
do not buy this item...it does not work
Do not buy this item. It does not work. It is a complete waste of my money and my time.
Worked fine for 1 year then stopped
This worked fine for 1 year with daily use and then the oven part stopped working. My small appliance repairman said there is no way to repair appliances made in China. I tried the Avanti brand and it stopped working after 1 1/2 years. Nobody makes high quality products anymore, especially if they are made in China it seems.
