I was concerned that the amount of light from this fan would not be adequate for my visually impaired husband--concern was needless. The amount of light is great as is the amount of air circulated. I bought two Highbury fans in white--one for the kitchen which tends to be warm and one for the breakfast room.
I did not install these myself, but I was told that the installation on one was a breeze and the installation of the second presented balance and vibration problems,
Love the remote and how quiet the fans are.
