Great Filter
These filters are great. They used to comes with the plastic straps to attach the filter, but now they come with big rubber bands that hold the pre filter on. These bands work great and they are so easy to use. Much better than the plastic bands.
The Phat filters I have used have seemed to last just fine over a year. I have one that is about 1 1/2 years old and it is still working. I rotate these every few years so I always have some new ones and I have no odor issues.
I highly recommend these filters.

Simple to install, just use a band clamp to connect it to a inline fan!

The filter looked like it had been "dropped" when I openned the package the other day because one whole side was dented inwards. I do not think this is the normal shape of the filter. I think the filter is workable, but I honestly haven't had a chance to use it yet - an expensive fan is needed for it to work. I purchased a muffler from this same company first because the advert showed a filter attached to a small muffler - which is not what arrived. I have had great difficulty returning that item back to them. ( BTW, if anyone else wants to return an item to them, they have a 15% "restocking" fee, so you do not get a full refund.)The false advertizing and poor customer service has made me want to never purchase from Hydro Galaxy ever again.
